Description:
Monotype is located in Baltimore's Meadow Mill - a renovated 19th century textile mill. We have been a resilient force in the educational publishing industry for close to a century.

We are seeking Editorial interns to assist Monotype's curriculum writers of children's textbooks (Pre-K to Grade 12). Candidate will be assisting in copyediting, fact checking, and foreign language editing. Will train.

Hours/days are flexible; prefer 2 full days per week or 3-4 half days.
Minimum of 12-20 hours per week.

Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

$8/hour.

Preference will be given to candidates who are interested in working part time during the school year. Can lead to a full time summer position.
