JOB: Marketing Coordinator

Marketing Coordinator Position

Growing architectural practice seeks an entry-level marketing person who wants to become integral to a company’s continued success. There will be filing and copying, yes, but the individual we seek will do much more. You will be directly involved in all aspects of proposal writing and production, presentation development, promotional materials planning and design, client research and prospecting, and media relations.

Responsibilities:
ß Coordinating and producing proposals and qualifications packages
ß Preparation and development of presentation materials
ß Editing and writing marketing materials, including resumes, project sheets and other collateral materials
ß Developing and assembling project press kits, including press releases, fact sheets and backgrounders
ß Researching and monitoring clients, prospects and media opportunities
ß Developing and maintaining marketing databases and records
ß Maintaining mailing lists and coordinating monthly mailings to various market sectors

Desired qualifications:
ß 0-3 years experience
ß Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, writing or related field
ß Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
ß Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects under deadlines
ß Eye for graphics/layout and superior attention to detail
ß Strong internet research skills
ß Initiative to look for and tackle the “next steps” in projects
ß Knowledge of Microsoft applications and graphics/layout programs
