Journalism: Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press

The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press is seeking interns!

The Reporters Committee works to defend the First Amendment rights and freedom
of information interests of the news media. The Reporters Committee has provided
representation, guidance and research in First Amendment and freedom of information
litigation in state and federal courts since 1970.
From our office in Arlington, Va., you’ll spend a spring, summer or fall semester:

• Publishing articles on legal issues that affect journalists — including court proceedings
and legislative hearings on Capitol Hill

• Interacting with working journalists, media lawyers and policy makers

• Learning from professionals in small-group seminars held in newsrooms, board rooms
and hearing rooms around Washington

• Advocating on behalf of the news media and its interests
