Work with Baltimore's Premier Bike Ride

We are looking for a self-motivated, web-savvy person to help us
maintain our website, Facebook, and Twitter postings as well as
collect information about local bike shops and organizations. Entering
our 10th year for our ride through the various parks in Baltimore,
Tour dem Parks, Hon! is a non-profit dedicated to maintaining and
improving the parks and park activities in Baltimore City. Help us
promote our ride (held June 10, 2012) by giving us your support as our
pr intern. We will provide you with a close look at the greenery in
Baltimore, a new way to get around town (although you don't have to ride a bike to be our intern), and a chance to expand your
resume by working with a well-known event. Email volunteer@tourdemparks.org.

Various responsibilities include:

City orientation of parks/route
Weekly emails blast to a select group of bike shops/bike organizations
Weekly postings to FB/Twitter
Contact with community organizations on the route (emails and pr
material to keep them up to date)
Community outreach to neighborhoods for participation
Develop email list and contact bike groups through email in the
5-state area (MD, DC, PA, VA, DE)
Develop and send press releases to local media outlets
