MARKETING AND SPONSOR FULFILLMENT INTERNSHIP (Fall 2006)
The Marketing department of the IronBirds are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist with pre-season marketing projects including, but not limited to: fulfillment of over 24 major sponsorship accounts, promotional development and execution, writing & editing of organizational publications, and Website maintenance.

Intern will assist the Marketing Manager on various projects such as, but not limited to:
• Writing, layout & design of team's nightly game program First Pitch
• Creation, design and development of collateral materials for Sponsor promotions
• Assistance with fulfillment of sponsorship accounts
• Game day and special events fulfillment and photography
• Daily editing, design and layout of Website content
• Digital photo editing/archiving
• Writing and editing of organization's publications and annual report
• Research assignments, filing, and organization
• General office duties and additional responsibilities as needed

Beginner or advanced knowledge of computer programs such as Quark, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator preferred, in addition to working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word and Excel. We are willing to teach the right, motivated and driven individual. Internship credit is available; we will work with your college/university to meet their internship requirements. Position available for Spring, Summer and/or Fall. 10-20 hours a week in Spring & Fall, 20-40 in Summer. General knowledge of computers a must. Experience with Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator preferred but not required; willing to train the right candidate.
